Friday 9th June

Our final day was another action-packed day full of adventure. Two groups became 'expert' sailors, another couple of groups navigated to a from the lake while the others climbed, gorge walked and canoed in glorious sunshine.

Tomorrow the children will depart the centre between 9:30am and 10am with the aim to arrive back at school at 3pm. We will ensure you are updated with any changes to our arrival time. See you tomorrow.

Thursday 8th June

On our penultimate day of activities the children have once again been challenged by the elements. However, it did not faze them with sailing, canoeing, mine exploration, hiking and gorge walking all still occurring.

The gorge was enjoyed by the children as they were able to slip and slide down over the rocks and dunk their heads into the water.

The children successfully walked back from the lake (the instructors watching from afar) and were still smiling when the entered the centre.
Wednesday 7th June

Last night we finally got to go on our evening walk were Year 6 enjoyed exploring their surrounding and marvelling at the spectacular mountain vista.

Today the children have been taking advantage of the improved weather conditions tackling sailing, hiking, canoeing and the famous RYG gorge walk.

The children have enjoyed all the activities with many quoting, 'This is the best thing ever!'
Tuesday 6th June

After a good first night, the children have been scrambling and climbing at the beach and visited a disused Welsh slate mine.

Many challenged themselves by overcoming either a fear of heights or the dark. It has been fantastic to see so many push themselves while exploring unfamiliar environments.

***ALL PUPILS HAVE ARRIVED SAFELY***

THEY ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SETTLING INTO THEIR ROOMS.

 Monday Evening

The children have enjoyed their first day here in a rather soggy Wales. Year 6 excitedly explored their rooms, collected their equipment and served their own dinner.

Once they had eaten, the children quickly donned their waterproofs and walking boots to head out into the elements for an orienteering activity with eager smiles and enthusiasm.
